Updated Maps and POIs for 2012.
APH Talking PC Maps seamlessly handles the switching between screen readers. You no longer need to restart APH Talking PC Maps if you switch screen readers or need to reload your screen reader for any reason.
Added the ability to download and install Maps and POIs from within APH Talking PC Maps.
New check for updates feature that can check for updated Maps, user submitted POIs, GPS installers and GTFS feeds.
New Sound effect when successful downloading of Updates is complete.
Synchronize option that can synchronize maps, POIs, GPS installers, license keys, favorites and GTFS feeds from your computer to Sendero GPS for the BrailleNote or Sense Navigation.
Create your own POIs and instantly share them with other Sendero users by submitting them to the large collection of user submitted POIs.
When switching map folders you are presented with a list of maps instead of having to browse to another folder. If the automatic detection fails, the option to browse to another map is still available.

Added a visual map with low vision features to the primary software screen including the ability to zoom in and out of the map. The text descriptions of your current location are still available.
A visual settings dialog makes it possible to adjust the default visual options of the graphical maps in the Visual Options item under the Tools Menu

Added support for user-created (manual) routes. Creating Manual Routes by virtually exploring the map. With this feature it is now possible to create a manual route just by exploring around the map. To initiate a manual route, activate the Files Menu, Routes Submenu, Manual Routes Submenu, Start Creating Manual Route. Create the route by using exploration keys, then end the manual route with the Finish Manual Route item in the Files Menu, Routes Submenu, Manual Routes Submenu.
Standardized printing functions
Print and copy to clipboard added to Route Descriptions, POI lists and POI details.
When copying your Latitude and Longitude (from the Locations menu) to your clipboard, you can paste this location into maps.google.com and be taken directly to where you are in the program. The Latitude is first, followed by the longitude.
